Pirates Take Down The Rabbits

The Pirates played an excellent game against the Rabbits Friday in Atlanta. The Rabbits drove down after receiving the first kick-off and scored first, and led 7-0 with less than eight minutes to go in the first quarter.

Pitt came right back and tied the game seven all with three minutes to go in the first quarter on Quarterback Jaylon Jimmerson’s 33 yard pass to waiting hands of junior wide receiver Keontae Burns, in spite of the defender. The Pirate defense solidified and that was the end of any Atlanta offensive challenge in the first half.
