Kaycee Parker, the daughter of Steve and Marci Parker, has committed to continuing her education and her participation in softball at Tyler Junior College. Kaycee had offers from 7 different colleges and universities to play softball and continue her education. After careful consideration, Kaycee has decided to become a Lady Apache. Tyler Junior College was ranked in the top 10 almost all season last year and as high as #1 in the country. Kaycee is a 3-year varsity letterman and received all district honors all three years. Kaycee has participated in a wide range of activities at Pittsburg HS that include National Honor’s Society, Cheerleading, volleyball, cross-country, basketball, and softball. Kaycee currently holds a GPA of 4.25 and is in the top 10% of her class. For the past 6 years, Kaycee has dedicated the majority of her time outside of school and church activities playing softball with her team, Causin’ Chaos. Kaycee has been a leader in the circle and at the plate for Causin’ Chaos. Over the past two seasons for Causin’ Chaos, Kaycee had a record of 24-5 with 219 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.62. Kaycee led at plate with a batting average of .405 with 5 HRs and 106 runs scored and 53 stolen bases.
