DECA Promotes CTE to Chamber, Community

The PHS DECA students this past week attended the monthly Chamber of Commerce Board Meeting to promote CTE Month and discuss the importance of Career and Technical Education at PHS. Presented by students, Daisy Portillo, Shelby Roark and Rachel Nelson, the mission of the CTE program at Pittsburg High School is to provide all students with skill based academic preparation ensuring readiness for the workforce, college or technical school.

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
