The Texas Education Agency Department of Performance Reporting has released the 2017 Accountability Ratings for the state of Texas with Pittsburg ISD receiving the highest Accountability Rating of Met Standard. Along with the district as a whole, each campus also received Met Standard for the 2017 report. All campuses passed the four report indexes along with 20 out of 26 Distinction Designations. The Intermediate and Jr. High Campuses also earned Academic Achievement in all available distinctions. Pittsburg ISD Met Standards on Student Achievement, Student Progress, Closing Performance Gaps and Postsecondary Readiness.
