IT Helpdesk Aide

Pittsburg ISD

Paraprofessional/Auxiliary - Classified Positions - Secretary/Clerical - Other

 

Knowledge/Skills: 

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Basic familiarity with various technology equipment

 

Performance & Responsibilities - The duties of the IT Helpdesk Aide will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Answering phone calls to the IT Helpdesk
  • Assisting Students and Parents by phone
  • Creating and assigning tickets to IT support personnel around the district
  • Getting estimates from vendors and assisting with procurement
  • Maintaining IT asset inventories and Check-in/Check-out 
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned by the Technology Director

 

This is an entry-level position. NO PRE-REQUISITE TECHNOLOGY SKILLS ARE REQUIRED, However an ideal candidate will be interested in a future career in IT.
