Students Selected for All-State Band

The Pride of Pittsburg is proud to announce that two students have been selected for the ATSSB 4A All-State Band. This is the first time since 1999 that the Pirate Band has put two students in the All-State Band! 

Katlyn Holmes, PHS Senior, made 1st chair in the ATSSB Area C Alto Clarinet competition, beating all other alto-clarinets in the area to advance to the All-State Band. 

Nayelly Enriquez, PHS Junior, made 5th chair in the ATSSB Area C B-flat Clarinet competition, advancing with only six other clarinets in the area to the State level. 

These two students will go to San Antonio in February and perform with the ATSSB All-State band and 130 of the best musicians in the state!
