High School Choir Students Qualify for State

PHS students competed Friday at the UIL Vocal Solo and Ensemble Competition.
Students that received Division 1 on a First Class Solo, and certified to compete at the State Solo and Ensemble Contest:

  • Jonathan Griffin

Division 1 on a Second Class Solo:

  • Latyia Rockwell

Division 1 on a First Class Ensemble, certified to compete at the State Solo and Ensemble Contest:

  • Madrigal "Fair Phyllis" – sopranos: Elizabeth Barton and Bree Bramblett, altos: Bridney Cardenas and Marissa Abernathy, tenors: Daniel Landavede and Jonathan Griffin, basses:  Brandon Mallory and  Chris McGee
